Each Æ+Y keypad assembly contains 20 miniature screws. Unusual in a mobile phone keypad, but critical to obtain the movement of the edge keys, and are normally used only in the most complicated watch movements. Learning to master miniature screws takes a high level of skill and precision. The main challenge is to prevent scratching of visual components as the phone is assembled.
