I spent a cozy week in Winter 2010 curled up at the Hotel Nimb in Copenhagen reading BLAST, Wyndham Lewis’s literary magazine that embodies the Vorticism movement.

Bless BLAST’s multidisciplinary, diverse content, expressive typography and sense of humour (“BLAST the French: poodle temper”). And bless BLAST for the comfort and inspiration it provided (“We want those simple and great people found everywhere.  BLAST presents an art of Individuals”).

It’s been called ‘violent pink’, a ‘puce monster’, a ‘vicious journal’, ‘inventive’ and ‘intellectual hard edge’.  In any case, here she is: our loud and proud muse, BLAST.
